| Lindome Structures fills the railway industry's requirements for unique, permanent and transportable shelters. Through the years we have outfitted rail yards with shelters that can themselves roll away or be locked into positions. We have also provided fabric buildings that can telescope inside each other to utilize limited space as well as temporary membrane structures that can be lifted by crane or forklift around the work yard.
With such versatility these fabric structures become more like a piece of yard equipment that can be moved into position until the job is done and then stored until next time.
We have outfitted fabric buildings with fall protection allowing locomotives to be serviced and retrofitted safely by work crews while also protecting them from the elements.
Our membrane structure buildings survive harsh environments and can be used as sand blasting and paint bays.
Constructed from square and rectangular tube steel, which offers 30% more tensile strength than round tube, these engineered frames are shipped to the job site and erected within a few days.
The benefit of Lindomes tensioned fabric structures over steel I-Beam type buildings is evident: portability, fast installation times no foundation required and less money.
The vinyl coated polyester fabric is one of the toughest in the industry and is the cornerstone of a durable structure that can last for 25 years. We use between 25 - 35 oz fabrics depending on the application. If punctured or damaged we will come to you and conduct onsite repairs without having to re-skin the entire structure, which is expensive and requires down time.
We have made our living in this industry for over 30 years; trust us to supply you with a common sense and durable solution.
